To God be ALL the glory — look what He did! 🙌
Honestly, writing this to you is one of our favorite things to do — because it means we get to brag on God. Not on ourselves, not on our programs, not even on the incredible people who show up to serve. All of this is Him. Every meal. Every answered prayer. Every mattress delivered. Every family sponsored. Every kid who sat down to a full plate this quarter. That's God.
From a Valentine's Day feast for 420 neighbors, to a record-breaking Saturday with 161 kids, to a fully completed medical center and a church being built from the ground up — we are standing here in Caribe Bajo completely in awe of what the Lord has done. We are just willing hands. He is the one doing the work.
We want to thank Him first, always. And then we want to thank YOU — because you said yes when He asked. Here's a look at what God did through this community between February and April 2026. All praise, all honor, all glory to Jesus.

We could share stats all day, but the best part is always the people — and the God who loves them so specifically, so personally, so faithfully. Here are just a few of the stories He wrote this quarter that we got to witness up close:
After over a year in our sponsorship program, Felicita and her family graduated to independence this February. They worked hard, stayed consistent, and kept showing up. But let's be clear — God did this. He provided the sponsors, the groceries, the encouragement, the breakthrough. Watching them walk out on their own two feet is a pure testimony to His faithfulness. Praise Him!
She has a HOME! Like, a real one — with lights, electricity, a working bathroom, and a septic system. Rogelio and Giovanni doubled the size of her original space. We did a final walkthrough and just stood there weeping — not because of anything we did, but because of what God did. He saw Dona Patricia. He hadn't forgotten her. From cardboard walls to a place she can be proud of. God is so, so good. He gets all the credit for this one.
Jennifer and Joe donated their king-size mattress not knowing who it was for. Back in December, a mama in our community had submitted a request — she needed a bed large enough for her whole family. In April, that mattress arrived at her door. Four months of waiting. One perfect, God-orchestrated moment. Only He could have lined that up. No algorithm. No coincidence. Just a faithful Father who sees every need and moves on behalf of His children. Thank You, Jesus.
Only God could look at a family of eight squeezing into one small space and say “I see you.” And that's exactly what He did. He moved on the hearts of donors to provide a spacious storage cabinet, a new gas stove burner, and a real bed for Brenda's boys who had been sleeping on a box spring on the floor. We were just the delivery people. God was the provider. Brenda's face when she saw it? Pure evidence of His love. We will never forget it.
This one just makes us happy. Francisco, a local student, set up at the community center and started giving free haircuts. Boys lined up. Compliments were flying. Community happened. Sometimes ministry looks exactly like this — a young person using their gift for their neighbors. Praise God for Francisco!

🎉 God Added 5 New Sponsored Families This Quarter — Praise Him!
We are celebrating with everything we have! God moved on the hearts of five new sponsors this quarter — bringing us to 21 sponsored families total! He saw the need, He stirred the hearts, and He made it happen. Each of those five families now has groceries, dignity, and the knowledge that God has not forgotten them. To Him be all the glory. Every single one of these things happened because God made a way. We are just grateful to have been in the room. Here's the bigger picture of what He did through this community:
🏥 Medical Center — OPEN! Praise God!
GOD DID IT! The medical center is fully completed — something that felt impossible not long ago. We are already meeting with local doctors and community leaders about how to use this space to serve our neighbors. Clinics, dental, chiropractic — all coming. Thank You, Lord!
🥘 Soup Kitchen & Saturday Program
We are now serving around 2,000 protein-rich meals every week and impacting the lives of over 120 families. Posole. Pancakes. Marlin. Fruit. Warm food, warm welcome, every single time.
📚 140+ ESL Students
English classes are growing fast. These students are learning skills that open real doors to better jobs and better futures. Pablo is a rockstar teacher and we are so proud of every single student.
🛒 Sponsorship Shopping Days
Every month, sponsored families fill their carts at Bodega Aurora. 21 families supported this quarter — our highest ever — and God keeps adding more. Five new families joined this quarter alone!

🏙️ Big Win: City Trash Collection!
Caribe Bajo now gets city trash pickup — saving us 2,400 pesos a month we used to cover ourselves. God moves in all kinds of ways. We'll take it!

🙌 God Sent the Volunteers — And They Showed UP!
Two months ago we launched our Volunteer Registration App — and we want to give God the glory for what He's done through it. In just two months, He moved on the hearts of people like YOU:
Thirty-seven volunteers on Kids Day alone — all showing up to share the love of Jesus with our community. We didn't manufacture that. God sent every single one of them. It was one of the most Spirit-filled days we've ever had here, and we are still thanking Him for it.

God Provides — Through People Like These

We serve a God who provides — and He loves to do it through people. Every name below is someone through whom God showed up in a real, tangible way this quarter. We are in awe of His provision and so grateful for every single one of you:
Humphry — rice, beans, sausage for our kitchen AND new baking dishes. He just keeps showing up. Every. Single. Time.
El Huerto — fresh vegetables, month after month. The kids eating nutritious meals? That's partly El Huerto. ¡Alabado sea Dios!
Dena & Jerry — flew in, brought supplies, and immediately jumped into serving. That's love in action.
Santos & Karen Cruz — funded an entire pancake breakfast for the Saturday kids. Syrup, mix, everything. The kids went wild.
Priscilla & her husband — diapers and formula, donated straight to mamas who needed it most. You answered someone's prayer that day.
Watermark Ministries — Will, Alan, Cindy, and Miguel served alongside us like family. 450+ meals in one day together. Wow.
Gricelda's Smokehouse — 80 lbs of fresh fish donated to feed our community. What a blessing!

Coming Up at Los Cabos Missions
Chiropractic Events! 🦴 The first week of June we're hosting chiropractor events from June 5th through the 12th — bringing free chiropractic care right to our community. These events are always such a blessing. Stay tuned for details on how you can help make this happen!
Medical Center is Open! 🏥 The build is done — and now the real work begins. We're actively meeting with local doctors, dentists, and medical professionals about how to use this beautiful space to serve Caribe Bajo. Free medical care for our neighbors is the dream, and we are getting there. So exciting!
Church Area Under Construction ⛪ We have no words for how full our hearts are about this one. God is building a church in Caribe Bajo. The stage and roof have already started, and it will include a built-in baptismal — because we fully expect people to give their lives to Jesus and we want to be ready! Once complete, we will hold church services right here in the heart of this community. We are humbled, we are in awe, and we give God ALL the glory for what He is doing.
