We're still taking it all in. 🙌
May was the kind of month where you keep stopping mid-sentence because you can't find words big enough. God did things this month we didn't even know to pray for. One hundred seventy-five kids at our very first VBS. A record 561 meals in a single day. Watermark Global Ministries showing up three times. One hundred ninety-nine Donation Connect requests fulfilled since we launched.
And still — 131 families in our community are waiting. Real families. Real names. Real prayers. So we want to brag on God first, then invite you into what's still unfinished. Because He's not done yet, and neither are we.
May 30th · A Day We Will Never Forget
🙌 Our First-Ever VBS
Seventy families signed up. On the morning of May 30th, 175 children walked through our doors. We've had big Saturdays before. This felt different. There was something in the air — a joy that wasn't manufactured, a peace that didn't come from us.
Every child heard the Gospel. Every child made a salvation bracelet — each color a reminder of Jesus they'll wear on their wrist. Then came the pizza, the “Dirt & Worms” dessert that had kids wide-eyed, and 125+ gifts handed out as they went home. Not one child left the same. God planned every detail of that day. We just showed up.

Watermark Global Ministries — Three Times 🌎
They didn't come once. They didn't come twice. Watermark Global Ministries served alongside us three times in May. Three days of meals. Three days of love poured out on our community. And then they showed up for VBS and gave 172 children a day they will carry for the rest of their lives. We are undone by their faithfulness. God sent them. All glory to Him.

Mother's Day 🌹
Someone was setting up at 3:00 in the morning so that every mama who walked in would feel like a queen. That's the love of Jesus in work boots. With Pastor Rick, Beach Church, and Watermark alongside us, every mother went home with a rose and a gift. God sees every mama. He didn't miss one.
Día del Niño — Kids Day 🎈
May 2nd — over 300 kids, face painting, bouncy houses, pizza, and the love of Jesus. They came in loud and left full. God planned that party long before we did.
21 Families. 21 Full Carts. 🛒
All 21 sponsored families at Aurrera in May. Watching them walk those aisles — choosing food for their children — we just kept thinking: This is God providing. We just drove the car. And one family, Felicita, graduated to full independence this month. Over a year in the program. Standing on her own. That's what this is for.
Ann & Erwin — Clean Water 💧
They installed a second zero-bacteria water filter at our serving station. Every one of the 200+ liters we pour out each day is now double-filtered. Pure water. Pure love. Same thing here.
López Obrador — A New Door Opens 📍
God is expanding our reach. Watermark brought diapers to mamas in the López Obrador community — a neighborhood we're just beginning to serve. He opened the door. We walked through. More to come.

⚠️ 131 Families Are Still Waiting
Since we launched Donation Connect, 199 requests have been fulfilled. One hundred ninety-nine families who got a bed, a refrigerator, a food basket, diapers for their baby. God moved through people just like you, and it was beautiful.
But right now, 131 families are still in the queue — 49 of them marked URGENT. The total funding gap to meet every priced request is $9,550. Here's what they're waiting for:
❄️ 35 appliances — mostly refrigerators. Families with no way to store food safely.
🍲 27 grocery/food baskets — families unsure of their next meal.
🏠 15 household goods requests.
🛏️ 8 beds & mattresses — children sleeping on the floor.
🧸 13 diaper requests — newborns who need them today.
🚪 11 furniture requests.
👕 4 clothing requests.
💰 $9,550 total gap to fulfill every priced request.
